Interns also spend approximately 2 1/2 hours each month meeting with their Kaleidoscope Groups. The UVTI Kaleidoscope Group is a professional learning community in which group members work together to improve their practice through collaborative learning. UVTI's K-Groups mix interns from various disciplines to discuss classroom issues, share problems and solutions, and develop strategies for teaching. Each group is led by a trained UVTI staff member
